Opening up its gates in June of 1991, Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, originally named Riverport Amphitheater, held its first show on Friday, June 14, 1991, and featured Steve Winwood’s Refugees of the Heart Tour with opening act Robert Cray.

In 2007, 17-year-old Taylor opened for Brad Paisley on the Bonfires & Amplifiers Tour. A year later, in 2008, she played at the amphitheatre for a second time while opening up for Rascal Flatts.Â
FARM AID | OCTOBER 4, 2009
On October 4, 2009, we welcomed Farm Aid to the amphitheatre with a lineup featuring Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Jason Mraz, Wilco, Gretchen Wilson & many more. The first-ever Farm Aid was hosted nearby in Champaign, Illinois in 1985, but October 4, 2009, was the first and only stop for the festival in St. Louis to date.
